This starship, damaged and stranded in orbit around the planet, is the vessel which houses ELAIN and the player. Repairing the Mothership is the primary objective of the game.

Fixing the the Mothership begins upon completing the [[Technology/Satellites|Satellites research]]. This will allow a [[Long-range Radar]] to select "Mothership" as a detection target. Once the Mothership's location is acquired, an [[AMAC]] can be used to launch a [[Satellite]] to deliver repair materials.
