The Human Explorer is a bot chassis.

Description

Human Explorers are Human-tech units with one Internal socket, one Anomaly-type inventory space and an integrated Blight Charger. It is a focus of the Human Discovery mission.

The Explorer's Anomaly storage can capture Anomaly Particles from nearby mining bots or buildings working on Blight Crystals. When a mining component completes a work cycle it has a 25% chance of spawning one Particle in the inventory of a Human Explorer within 2 spaces.

Acquisition

The player can obtain a Human Explorer by searching unexplored terrain. A notification will appear upon generating a chunk that contains a Damaged Human Explorer. Providing the necessary materials to the wreck will repair it and convert it into a mobile, usable bot.

Tips
  • Bring weapons when scouting for the wrecked Explorer as it will spawn with hostile Bugs inbound. The wreck is tough enough to withstand damage for a few seconds. Should the wreck be destroyed you can continue searching for another.
  • This unit has a higher Power consumption than its hardwired Blight Charger can handle. You may wish to equip a Capacitor in its Internal socket to extend the length of time it can explore Blight zones.
