Early game (tutorial)
Mining
You will first need to attach the Laser Mining Tool component on your Scout. After this, select your scout and right click a nearby metal ore deposit. The scout will mine until it's inventory is full or the ore deposit runs out, If your scout is connected to the logistics network, if it has finished mining, it will carry out an order (like deliver the ore to a fabricator). Then it will do another order and so on. This is normal behaviour.
If you want your scout, or any bot, to only mine and do nothing else, there are numerous options.
- The simplest is to click on the bots logistics network button and deselect "carry out orders".

- Another option is to disable the bot from the network.
