Missions

'Missions' are guided series of goals. They can grant various rewards to the player such as unique bots and early access to technologies.

Primary Mission[edit | edit source]

Repair the Mothership[edit | edit source]

Secondary Missions[edit | edit source]

AI Base[edit | edit source]

The AI Base mission involves an encounter with a Bot base whose Command Center is equipped with an autonomous AI core. Completion will allow the player to make their own Behavior AI Cores which can take command of their faction and expand on its own.

Anomaly Base[edit | edit source]

The Anomaly Base mission involves contact with a faction of anomalous Bots. Specifically, the Re-simulator at their base features unique wormhole technology to research and harness. Experimentation will allow you to replicate the effect using the Virus Simulation Core.

Human Discovery[edit | edit source]

The Human Discovery mission begins when encountering a wrecked Human Explorer at the edge of a Blight field. Repair it and use its resistance to the Blight to capture anomaly particles and craft the Human Simulation Core.

Human Evolution[edit | edit source]

The Human Evolution mission kicks off with the discovery of a massive Space Elevator built long ago by the Humans. By upgrading one of their Explorer vehicles and gaining access to their other ruined structures you can utilize the Blight Simulation Core to partially restore the giant tower.

Find and investigate the giant silicon tree, a generous - but dangerous - source of precious silica sand.

Silica Discovery[edit | edit source]

Another source of silica has been found on the plateau biome. But an army of bugs stands between you and reactivating an abandoned mining base.
