Description

One of the first resources that players must manage is the gathering and refining of Crystal. Crystal Chunks can be found as both minable deposits and loose items. Loose Crystals can be gathered by any bot with free inventory space. Larger deposits can be exploited by a bot or building equipped with a Miner or Laser Mining Tool.

Tips

Early game, if you find a Radar in explorables, you may want to set up a bot to find and gather loose Crystal, focusing your mining efforts on Metal Ore first. This is particularly useful for Crystal Chunks as they do not require refining to be used in many early production recipes; any items found can be immediately put to use.
