The Infected Circuit Board is an advanced manufactured item.
Infected Circuit Boards have been corrupted by a virus that allows them to bypass Robot security. They are an integral part of research into understanding the virus, unlocking both defenses against infection and methods of utilizing viral technology.
The crafting recipe for Infected Circuit Boards can be found by locating a neutral virus-infected bot. Destroying it will yield at least one Infected Circuit Board. Alternatively, allowing the virus to contact your own unit will prompt ELAIN to synthesize the recipe as part of a cure.
The puzzles on Explorables can be bypassed by using one Infected Circuit Board. This can be used in conjunction with Behaviors to automate the looting of Explorables.
