Be cautious when exploring and engage the Bots at range; they will infect Bots that get too close, causing them to escape your control and further spread the virus among your units. Picking up one Infected Circuit Board grants their recipe for manufacture at an Assembler and unlocks Virus Research.

The puzzles on Explorables can be bypassed by using one Infected Circuit Board. This can be used in conjunction with Behaviors to automate the looting of Explorables.
