Assumptions[edit | edit source]
- This page assumes finite resources (infinite resources and
Blight Magnifiers are there own optimization problems) - This page assumes that the player has a limited capacity to micromanage (so past a certain point all frames are mobile and have
Behavior Controllers). It doesn't account for a mining crew that moves buildings via
Deployers (yet) - This table doesn't include the cost of controlling the miners (e.g. radar), powering the miners, or shipping the resources
How to read this table[edit | edit source]
The first four columns describe the build. Miner is the type of miner on the bot,
is whether excess internal slots are used for mining drones, and
is whether a behavior controller is included in the cost.
This table is given in terms of the resources (
-seconds,
-seconds, and ongoing Power draw) required to get the equivalent of one
Miner. Miners-per-bot is how many miner equivalents are on a single bot of this type, i.e. a
Twinbot with two
Laser Mining Tools has four miner-equivalents*. As it's per miner, we can say that the 1-miner basic worker will pay for itself in 2 minutes 26 seconds while the 26-miner (13 advanced drone) Mobile Command Center will pay for itself in 1 hour 9 minutes, ignoring the cost of support, processing, and logistics.
*yes, technically advanced miners are 2.08x faster for crystal due to tick rounding
